This little Monkey is the very first step in our 2028 Chinese Zodiac Collection, carefully hand-sculpted in our workshop. Every De Rosa piece begins as a simple block of clay and evolves through hours of sculpting, carving, refining, and hand painting before it reaches its final form.
We always launch our Chinese Zodiac pieces one year in advance, giving collectors the opportunity to discover and enjoy each new design before its zodiac year begins.
There's still a long journey ahead for this playful little character, but we couldn't resist sharing a glimpse of the creative process.
